The pleasure of knowing that while I am visiting my
"cottagers," people from all over the planet are visiting
Hail Mary Shelley! and that some, such as the young
fellow from Long Island, are "discovering a new vision
of Frankenstein" he "cannot wait to share . . . with his
friends and family" requires more than words of
mine to convey. Here are words that will do.

                        1587
He ate and drank the precious Words--
His Spirit grew robust--
He knew no more that he was poor,
Nor that his frame was Dust--

He danced along the dingy Days
And this Bequest of Wings
Was but a Book--What Liberty
A loosened spirit brings--

                                    Emily Dickinson
                                     circa 1883

If I live to be five foot two, perhaps by then Danny
from Vermont will have visited Hail Mary Shelley!
and will have communicated more of his insights
to this part of a Candid World.
